The ProBlot 12 meets the needs of medium to high throughput laboratories with its 6 and 12 bottle capacity.

 

The rotisserie and incubation system in the ProBlot oven provides the perfect conditions for consistent results with low background. Mechanical convection creates an extremely uniform environment by circulating air through the chamber while heat input is controlled by a microprocessor. An integral viewing area in the door allows for sample visualization without disrupting the interior temperature. The desired agitation level is obtained with the variable speed and adjustable axis rotisserie.

 

Oven chambers are corrosion resistant stainless. ProBlot 12 has a grounded interior electrical outlet for powering small equipment. The ovens are provided with a rotisserie for 35mm diameter bottles and 50ml disposable tubes, a drip tray, two large bottles and a pack of hybridization mesh. A rocking platform and other rotisseries are available.

 

Both the ProBlot 12 and 12S come complete with a rotisserie that will accept 12 large or 24 small bottles. Rotisserie angle and speed are adjustable to allow for gentle hybridization as well as vigorous washing of blots. An optional rocking platform may be used in the chamber when the rotisserie is removed. The ovens feature mechanical convection and digital temperature control. A large observation window in the magnetically sealed door allows for viewing the oven contents without disrupting the interior environment. An electrical outlet is located within the chamber.

 

In addition to the rotisserie, the ProBlot 12S has an orbital shaking platform in the bottom for bulk washing or to use the oven as an incubator shaker. An accessory flask clamp platform is sold separately.
