GeneMate premier freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller and digital temperature display backed up by an audible and visual alarm package to help ensure the temperature stability and safety of samples and supplies. Freezers feature an adjustable microprocessor temperature controller with digital air temperature display. The average cycle temperature for these freezers is -20°C. Audible and visual alarms supported by battery back-up alert during high-low temperatures and power failures. High and low settings are user adjustable. Temporary muting feature has an intermittent reminding chirp. Additional features include sample simulated digital temperature display, sensor error warning, remote alarm clock, five insulating inner doors, locking caster platform and a keyed door lock.
Auto-defrost models have programmed defrost cycles that will reach air temperatures of approximately 0°C. The average cycle temperature for these freezers is -20°C or -30°C. Freezers feature a CFC-free refrigerant, foam insulation and packaging. Additional features include a heavy-duty, reinforced handle, a mechanical thermostat and a magnetic door gasket.
