CellSTACK® culture chambers feature USP Class VI polystyrene construction for excellent optical clarity and mechanical strength

Chambers are available with CellBIND® surface treatment, which improves cell attachment leading to increased cell growth and yields and provides more consistent and even cell attachment. The surface helps adapt cells to reduced serum or serum-free conditions, requires no refrigeration or special handling, and is stable at room temperature.

Other sterile 33mm threaded caps are also available: a solid unvented cap for closed systems or in applications where venting is not necessary; vented filling caps with integrally sealed USP Class VI certified 9.5mm (3/8") I.D. C-FLEX® tubing and fitted with a 50mm filter and 0.2µm pore membrane; vented filling caps with integrally sealed USP Class VI certified 6.4mm (1/4") I.D. tubing and fitted with a Air Vent Filter, for use when increased venting is required; and universal over caps for use with existing tubing systems. The stacking device (66025-658) models the top surface of the chamber, securely nesting in the strengthening ribs. It is used to optimize incubator space while providing clearance for venting. Chambers are manufactured under GMP conditions and 100% leak-tested prior to shipping. Certified nonpyrogenic and sterilized by gamma irradiation.

The ultra-low attachment surface is a covalently bound hydrogel layer that is hydrophilic and neutrally charged. The surface minimizes cell attachment, protein absorption and enzyme activation. It is ideal for culturing stem cells, as it promotes ebryoid body formation from ES cells. Surfaces are stable, noncytotoxic, biologically inert, and nondegradable.

Accessories are available to simplify handling and reduce contamination risks when processing chambers. The optional stacking device models the top surface of the CellSTACK® chamber, securely nesting in the strengthening ribs. It is used to optimize incubator space while providing clearance for venting. Sterile filling, filtering, and replacement caps are also available.

Two 26mm diameter filling ports allow direct access to the chamber bottom, providing greater flexibility for sterile filling and emptying by pouring, pipetting, or via tubing in a fully closed system. Self-venting 33mm threaded caps feature 0.2µm pore nonwettable membranes sealed directly to the caps to allow gas exchange while minimizing the risk of contamination. Caps also prevent pressure buildup during transport.

Certifications: Chambers are sterilized by gamma radiation and certified nonpyrogenic. Manufactured under GMP conditions and 100% leak-tested prior to shipping.
