When the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure 1311 was developed, it recommended using the Whatman Grade GF/F filter. Other applications include: DNA binding and purification; Filtering finely precipitated proteins; Filtering biochemical solutions, fluids, and nucleic acids.
